Palink is a giant Blue Shark that is the leader of Hidge shiver. He does not like Icingholme and the orcas that live there. His war was stopped by Gray and the guardians. After Gray talked with him and Tik-Tun, he agreed that there would be no more war between the two forces. In fact, they were even happy with each other, afterwards.

Palink is smart, fast and cheerful. He recognises his weaknesses quickly and obviously has a leadership instinct since he leads Hideg shiver. After Gray and Barkley solve a territory dispute he becomes fast friends with them, along with Tik-tun, the leader of Icingholme shiver and his former enemy.
